1. Services

Bookish Tutors provides online tutoring services in various subjects. Our services include one-on-one tutoring sessions, group sessions, and other educational support activities.

2. User Accounts

Registration

To use our services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up-to-date.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Booking and Cancellation

Booking

You can book tutoring sessions through our website. Each session’s date, time, and tutor will be confirmed via email upon booking.

Cancellation and Refunds

  • Client Cancellations: You may cancel a session up to 2 hours before the start time for a full refund. If you cancel within 2 hours of the session start time or do not show up for the session, you may forfeit the amount paid for the service.
  • Tutor No-Show or Last-Minute Cancellation: If the tutor does not show up or cancels the session last minute, you are entitled to a full refund.

4. Payments

Payment Methods

All payments for tutoring services are processed through a secure third-party payment processor. We also accept payments via eTransfer to [email protected]. You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your bookings according to the prices displayed at the time of booking.

Payment Timing

All services must be paid for before they are delivered.

5. Code of Conduct

You agree to use our services for lawful purposes only and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the services. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to, harassment, abusive language, and unauthorized use of content.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and data on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, designs, colors, layouts, and images, are the property of Bookish Tutors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, display, or distribute any part of our website without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Disclaimers

Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the quality, reliability, or accuracy of the services.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services in question.
